Today we leave Rome with bellies filled with pasta and tired eyes. For me its not goodbye because I’m coming back in a week with my family. It’s amazing how much you can learn to love a place in such a short amount of time. Every building in Rome is beautiful and has so much history. I can feel it most when I walk down small side streets and there is some piece of architectural art. A water fountain spewing adorned with carved faces, a monument dedicated to a past leader, a political building with flags waving. All unique and a part of Rome. Now I sit on the train headed to Florence wondering what waits for me there. Out my window green hills and blue skies. Italia.

Barcelona is a city of nightlife, history, sandy beaches, and friendly natives. In my time there I got the chance to immerse myself in its history and most importantly it’s food. I feel as if Europe is a place meant for taking down all your walls to let in everything new and different. Not only have I been thoroughly enjoying my adventures, I am growing as a person.
